Aura E. Cornejo graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University with a degree in finance.While at Texas A&M University, Ms. Cornejo earned the highly sought-after Top Ten Percent Scholarship as well as the Regents Scholarship.She earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center. During her time at the University of Houston Law Center, Ms. Cornejo was a part of the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic, where she assisted small business owners with various transactional matters.
After graduating from law school, Ms. Cornejo worked in a mid-sized firm in Houston specializing in wage and hour class actions and arbitrations.
Ms. Cornejo joined Henneman Rau Kirklin & Smith in 2024, where her practice focuses on commercial litigation and securities arbitration.
Ms. Cornejo is fluent in Spanish.
Outside of work, Ms. Cornejo is an avid reader of classic literature, enjoys volunteering where the emphasis focuses on helping children, and she takes part in a daily fitness regime and a healthy lifestyle.
